Bankruptcy Law Institute Set for May

Keeping the tradition of offering a top-notch program, the 2013 Bankruptcy Law Institute May 2-3 will offer a variety of topics presented by a prestigious panel of experts.

Topics covered will include making the leap from Chapter 13 to Chapter 11; building and operating a successful bankruptcy practice, how a trial presentation becomes an opinion; local and national case law updates and tax issues and insolvency. The annual requirements of ethics, professionalism and substance abuse will be offered through the subtopics of the ethics of getting paid, psychology of bankruptcy, and addictive personalities.

In addition, there will be breakout sessions on the commercial topics of complex Chapter 11 confirmation issues as well as on 363 sales. Breakout sessions on the consumer topics of protection issues and fresh start remedies will also be offered.
