Nominations Being Accepted for OLAF Presidential Award

The Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation Presidential Award is presented annually to law firms or individuals who have made outstanding efforts in improving access to justice through pro bono or volunteer service.

Past recipients include the Ohio State Bar Association (2012); Hon. Mary Jane Trapp (2011); Laurie J. Pangle (2010); and Hon. Robert P. Ringland (2009).

Nominations for the award are now open. If you would like to nominate an individual or organization for outstanding efforts in improving access to justice through pro bono or volunteer service, then please do so by email to jtaylor@olaf.org no later than Monday, March 4, 2013, at 5:00 p.m.

Your nomination should include the name or names of the individual or organization you are nominating and a brief statement (no more than 250 words) of why this individual or organization should be selected. You may submit more than one nomination. Letters of recommendation are welcomed but not required.

Foundation Board President Ritchey Hollenbaugh will review all nominations and make a final selection.

The Award will be presented on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 8, during the Ohio State Bar Association 2013 Annual Convention at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel in Cleveland.
