Nearly $2,500 Raised for "Open Books, Open Minds"

With the generous support of Columbus Bar members and CLE attendees, our 2012 Open Books, Open Minds December raffle raised nearly $2,500 to purchase books and DVDs for the library at the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center. In addition, all the young people who were in the Detention Center over Christmas got to pick their favorite book as a gift.

Pictured are our lucky raffle winners: Lisa Slotnick was the recipient of the Nook HD and Martha Hutzelman was the winner of the bottle of champagne which was delivered just in time to enjoy for New Year’s Eve!
