It’s Not Your Great Uncle's Ethics, Professionalism and Substance Abuse CLE
Two Substantive Law Committees are keeping tradition by joining forces to provide a program covering ethics, professionalism and substance abuse. The December 6 program taking place at the CBA will have a new look under the theme “Evolution of Practice: New Technology/Old Law.”
Leon David Bass (Taft Stettinius & Hollister) and James L. Ervin Jr. (Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff) will cover the ethics process as it relates to structure and scope, advocacy, key considerations of the process, and UPL. A comparison of then and now will be offered by Michael L. Close (Wiles Boyle Burkholder & Bringardner), Professional Ethics Committee Chair, and Christina L. Corl (Crabbe Brown & James) for the professionalism segment followed by Scott R Mote, Executive Director, Ohio Lawyers Assistance Program, who will cover the substance abuse topic.
While not presenting, R. Leland Evans (Porter Wright Morris & Arthur), Professionalism Committee Chair, once again played a key role in the planning of the seminar.
The Columbus Bar would like to thank Willis for sponsoring this event. Register for this program online or call 614/221.4112.
