Minorities in the Law Committee Ramps Up for 2013 Summer Clerkships

Co-chairs Greg Swart and Megan Goeser Gonzalez lead two informational meetings at Capital Law School and OSU Moritz College of Law November 7 and 8 that prepared 90 law students of color for the 2013 Minority Clerkship Program. They were joined by a panel of distinguished alumni from the MCP who spoke to the students about the different ways their clerkships benefited them throughout their career and continues to benefit them today.

Judge Kimberly Cocroft, Judge Tim Horton, Lindsay Ford Ellis and Delilah Nunez entertained questions from students after discussing the relevance of the program to the Columbus legal community today, among other topics. The program relies heavily on the two local law schools for students and the employers who agree to accept clerks.
