You Can Help Veterans with TBI - Cash for Casual Day on November 9
Cash for Casual Day - November 9, 2012
The Resurrecting Lives Foundation is calling upon Central Ohio attorneys to participate in its 2012 Veteran’s Day “Cash For Casual” fundraiser on November 9th.
Resurrecting Lives Foundation is a locally based organization with the singular purpose of conducting research into, and developing treatment protocols for, America’s veterans who suffer from traumatic brain injury (“TBI”), which affects nearly 20% of those who served in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Resurrecting Lives is partnering with Albert Einstein University in NYC, and one of the leading neuro-radiologists in the nation to define the brain injury involved with IED blasts so that protocols can be developed for rehabilitation. It is the first study of its kind, comparing service personnel to civilians.
To help fund this study, Resurrecting Lives Foundation is challenging local attorneys and law firms to participate in a “Cash for Casual” day on November 9, 2012 – the last business day before Veteran’s Day - and allow their attorneys and staff to wear casual clothes to work for a donation to the Foundation. Of course, this is just a suggestion and any fundraiser effort, or direct donations are welcomed.
100% of the funds raised will go directly to conduct this landmark study. More information about Resurrecting Lives Foundation, the upcoming study, and this fundraising effort is available at the Foundation’s website: http://resurrectinglives.org/, or by contacting Gary Johnson at gary@resurrectinglives.org. Donations may be sent to: Resurrecting Lives Foundation, 6724 Perimeter Loop Road, PMB #317, Dublin, OH 43017, or made online through the Foundation’s website.
