November 28, 2012
3.0 CLE Hours
This program is designed to assist volunteer attorneys and paralegals who are participating in the PACO/LASC Pro Bono Wills Clinics which are held monthly at different sites throughout Central Ohio. At these clinics, attorneys talk with the clients after the paralegals prepare the documents. Clients are provided with completed simple wills, health care powers of attorney, financial powers of attorney, living wills, and organ donor instructions. The program will focus on providing these documents for low income individuals.
The 3.0 CLE hour program, “Planning for the Future: Preparing Simple Wills and Advance Directives” will be held at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, One Nationwide Plaza, November 28, 2012. The registration fee is $110.00 and preregistration is required due to security reasons. This training is free to any attorney or paralegal who is currently participating in a Pro Bono program through the Legal Aid Society of Columbus, Southeast Ohio Legal Services Association or the Columbus Bar Association* and to all Nationwide employees, and is required for any attorney or paralegal who wishes to volunteer at the Wills Clinic.
