ONA on Notarizing Mortgage Deeds

Notarizing Mortage Deeds and Other Property Transfer Documents
November 7, noon-1pm

Back by popular demand, James H. Bownas will present a one-hour CLE, “Notarizing Mortgage Deeds and other Property Transfer Docusments,” on November 7 at noon. Attendees are welcome to arrive at 11:30 for a brown bag networking lunch before the seminar.

The seminar will cover the requirements under Ohio law for the execution and notarization of deeds, mortgage deeds, affidavits, and other documents commonly used in connection with the conveyance of interests in real estate, and practical considerations for compliance. This program is a part of a series offered by the Ohio Notary Association (ONA) in partnership with the Columbus Bar.

In addition to 1.0 CLE credit hour, this course has been approved for 1.0 hour of (Title) Insurance continuing education credit through the Ohio Department of Insurance.
