Taxing Matters Series Kicks Off with Issues in Succession Planning
Sponsored by the Business Tax Committee, the Taxing Matters Series is gearing up for the 2012-2013 season. The 1.0 CLE hour series installments are the second Wednesday of each month from September through November.
September 12 (12:15pm-1:15pm) the topic of Selected Issues in Business Succession Planning will be discussed by J. Anthony Kington, Taft Stettinius & Hollister; and Peter N. Reist, CPA/PFS, AIF®, Oxford Financial Group. Areas to be covered include the succession planning process; dealing fairly with the next generation(s); separating voting from equity; planning for liquidity needs; and a case study.
As a part of the Taxing Matters Series, attorney attendees who register may be eligible for up to 1.0 hour of CLE credit, and members of the Business Tax Committee may audit this presentation.
