Series to Sharpen Speaking Skills

Would you like your communication to distinguish you from others in your profession? If so, you'll appreciate what the CBA is bringing you this fall.

Merri Bame, Executive Communication Coach and Founder of Breaking Down Barriers will present a series of three (90-minute) workshops on communication effectiveness. She will be joined by Jon J. Saia, Managing Partner of Saia & Piatt, on August 28 for “Presenting Your Power,” when the two will provide tips on how to hone your message and deliver it with ease, confidence and power.

“Courtroom Confidence” on September 11 will help ensure you are at your best whether delivering prepared or extemporaneous remarks. “Manage Your Mantra” on October 23 is designed to enhance comportment for those in the challenging legal profession. Douglas J. Althauser, Doug Althauser Law, will join Merri for this program and provide his refreshing perspective as an attorney and addiction counselor.
