inc(ubator) Program Continues to Grow Support

The Columbus Bar inc(ubator) Program recently received its largest grant to date thanks to the Columbus Law Library Association Fund of the Columbus Bar Foundation.

Judge Charles A. Schneider said the Law Library Advisory Board was pleased to recommend the grant to the incubator program. The Law Library Association has a long history of supporting the legal community and access to justice. By helping new lawyers enhance their legal skills and provide pro bono services to the community, the program is doing both and therefore is an appropriate use of its funds, a portion of which was donated to the Bar Foundation for administration.

In addition to the generous Columbus Law Library Association grant, the Columbus Bar and the Foundation thank the following contributors and supporters of inc:

Financial contributions: Bob Palmer and Susan Simms, Steve Buchenroth, Belinda Barnes, Greg Travalio, David C. Patterson, Heather Sowald, Dave Alexander, Mike Gire, Judge Carrie Glaeden, Judge Guy Reece, Rob Meyer, Rosemary Pomeroy, Brigid Heid and Sandy McIntosh

Furniture and Office Supplies: Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease, Magistrate Elizabeth Watters and Alan Acker

On-site mentors: Rick Colby, Adam Todd, Jim Bownas and Chris Hogan

Off-site mentors (phone and email): Jack D’Aurora, Brad Frick, Doug Riddell, Jim Bownas and LeeAnn Massucci

Educational Session Presenters: Bruce Campbell, Marion Smithberger, Jane Taylor (OLAF), Janet Green Marbley (new this year), Cheryl Bundy (Keybank), Stephanie Hanna and Kellie Kesselring (Domestic Court), Judge Charles Schneider (new this year), Jason Dolin, Eileen Pruett and Judge Ann Taylor (Municipal Court), Jacqueline Orlando, (Capital - new this year) and Kaz Unalan (GBQ)
