Strategize Your Electronic Presence
~ written by Ken Matejka
If you want your website to generate leads for your law practice, two critical components need to be in place:
First, you need to have a professional, attractive and emotive website in order to cause visitors to your website to make contact with you at least 5% of the time. You can bring a lot of traffic to the wrong website and have very few contacts from all of the people who have come to that site over the course of the month.
Second, you need to have that website visible on the web. This is equivalent to being visible in Google, which currently has a near monopoly for law-related search in United States.
Strategize Your Electronic Presence (July 19, 2.0 CLE hours) will discuss the elements of a successful website and what you can do in-house to make that website more visible in Google. We will also look at Google Analytics data from a sample law firm website to illustrate what information about your website visitors is useful in determining whether your website is effective in making people contact you and is sufficiently visible on the web.
Do make sure in advance of the session that Google Analytics is installed on your website. It is free and will provide you with a wealth of valuable information about how your website is performing.
Looking forward to seeing you on July 19, 1:30pm to 3:45pm, 2.0 CLE Hours. Register online or call 614/221.4112.
