2012-2013 Columbus Bar Association Officers and Board of Governors Elected
The Columbus Bar membership elected three new members to join the 2012-13 Board of Governors. Elected to first-time terms are James D. Abrams, Taft Stettinius & Hollister; Stephanie R. Hanna, Staff Attorney to Judge Christopher Geer, Franklin County Common Pleas Court, Domestic/Juvenile Division; and LeeAnn M. Massucci, Massucci & Kline. Jennifer A. Adair, Office of Legal and Acquisition Services, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services; Aaron L. Granger, Associate General Counsel, Exel, Inc.; and Jay E. Michael, Law Offices of Jay E. Michael, were re-elected to second terms.
Keith W. Schneider, Maguire & Schneider, will serve as secretary/treasurer. Schneider will join Bradley B. Wrightsel, Wrightsel & Wrightsel, who will be sworn in as president, culminating his six years of service on the board – four as a board member and the last two as a Columbus Bar officer – and Magistrate Mark C. Petrucci, Franklin County Common Pleas Court, who will be installed as president-elect. Current president, David S. Bloomfield, Jr., Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, will serve as immediate past president.
All newly-elected members will be sworn in at the Annual Meeting on June 15 at the Sheraton Cap Square (formerly the Hyatt). They will join sitting board members Prof. Jack A Guttenberg, Capital University Law School; Brigid E. Heid, Carlile Patchen & Murphy; Sandra R. McIntosh, Freund Freeze & Arnold; Lisa Pierce Reisz, Vory Sater Seymour and Pease; and Gregory M. Travalio, Of Counsel with Isaac Brant Ledman & Teetor. Rosemary Ebner Pomerory, Law Offices of Rosemary Ebner Pomeroy, will retire from the Board after serving the maximum two terms of office. Jameel S. Turner, Bailey Cavarieri, will retire after completing a one-year appointed term, and Immediate Past President Hon. Stephen L. McIntosh, Franklin County Common Pleas Court, will leave the Board after serving since 2005.
