Mandatory E-Filing at the SSA

As of March 16, the Social Security Administration made it mandatory for all representatives wishing to receive direct payment to file their clients’ appeals electronically.

Darren Lutz, Public Affairs Specialist, will present a 2.0 hour CLE on this subject - Social Security New E-Filing Rule - on Friday, June 8 at 1:30. Information will include the history and explanation for the decision to make e-filing mandatory, an overview of the electronic appeals process, and a Social Security 101 session about retirement, spouses/ex-spouses and Medicare. Mr. Lutz serves as an SSA spokesperson and public educator, frequently giving presentations to a variety of audiences.
