The Ohio Center for Law-Related Education Seeks Executive Director

The Ohio Center for Law-Related Education (OCLRE), an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking an experienced Executive Director. The Center is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-political organization which provides civics programs to teachers across Ohio. OCLRE has an annual budget of approximately $550,000 and is sponsored by the Supreme Court of Ohio, the Attorney General of Ohio, the Ohio State Bar Association and the ACLU of Ohio Foundation The Executive Director candidate must have experience in developing, implementing and managing strategic directives, budget management, and supervision of operations staff. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and experience in non-profit administration and development. Candidates must have a proven record of successful working relationships with teachers, legislators, attorneys and judges along with excellent writing and communication skills. Familiarity with Ohio’s Academic Content Standards for the social studies is desirable. The beginning salary for this position is approximately $65,000 per year along with an excellent benefits package.
