The Operation Feed Law Firm Challenge: A Call to Action.

2012 LAW FIRM CHALLENGE GOAL 115,000 meals CHALLENGE DATES Participating law firms are asked to conduct their campaigns between May 1 - June 15th. Results must be submitted to Mid-Ohio Foodbank by July 31st for prize consideration. Every year, the Operation Feed Campaign recruits local organizations to fight hunger through organizational food drives that benefit the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. For every dollar raised, the Mid-Ohio Foodbank is able to provide a remarkable 3 meals to those in need. In 2011, a total a total of nine Columbus law firms conducted food drives, which raised an impressive 94,114 meals through food and fund donations. While all of these food drives were remarkable for their generosity and creativity, we believe we can do better. In order to increase the number of meals raised by Central Ohio law firms in 2012, the Columbus Bar Association and Mid-Ohio Foodbank have joined forces to launch the “Operation Feed Law Firm Challenge.” History shows that competition among colleagues is among the most successful and fun elements in food drive campaigns. The idea is to build upon that success by broadening the scope of the competition to industry peers. The Columbus Bar Association and Mid-Ohio Foodbank are calling upon Central Ohio law firms of all sizes to participate in the inaugural Operation Feed Law Firm Challenge. Through this fun and spirited competition, our goal is to raise 115,000 meals in 2012. Your firm's help is needed. We invite you to participate and have a great time.
