Chester Fund Brings Peacemaker to CLE Program
The Chester Family Professionalism Fund of the Columbus Bar Foundation is sponsoring national speaker and author J. Kim Wright to present “Lawyers as Peacemakers: Integrity, Purpose and Values in the New Paradigm of Law Practice,” a 4.0 hour CLE at the Columbus Bar on Friday, March 16 from 8:30am to 12:45pm.
Ms. Wright is the author of the ABA best seller, Lawyers as Peacemakers, Practicing Holistic, Problem-Solving Law, and the publisher of the website, CuttingEdgeLaw.com, a community magazine and resource center that proposes the question: What if lawyers were peacemakers, problem-solvers and healers of conflicts?
In 2009, the ABA named her as one of their 50 Legal Rebels who are “finding new ways to practice law, represent their clients, adjudicate cases and train the next generation of lawyers.” Ms. Wright has interviewed over a hundred lawyers, law professors, law students, judges and allied professionals who are on the cutting-edge of legal practice. She has met thousands of lawyers who are engaged in this new paradigm and has made it her mission to showcase their work and to talk about what might be possible in the legal profession.
