Legal Rebel, J. Kim Wright, Presents on Legal Culture

Lawyer, author, editor, public relations advocate, coach, consultant, teacher, trainer. Sounds like a team. In truth, it is a team of one. J. Kim Wright, named a legal rebel by the ABA, wears many hats. She will be donning the one she wears as a leader of the integrative law movement focused on collaboration, problem-solving, peacemaking and healing conflict when she comes to the Columbus Bar, March 16. Ms. Wright will present a 4.0 hour CLE, 8:30am to 12:45pm, entitled “Lawyers as Peacemakers: Integrity, Purpose and Values in the New Paradigm of Law Practice.” Peacemakers CLE comes from a suggestion of Vicki Jenkins, Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, and through the sponsorship of the Chester Family Professionalism Fund of the Columbus Bar Foundation.

The program will be a cognitive and experiential mix. Using a combination of content delivery, exercises and discussions, Ms. Wright will bridge the gap between the current legal culture and new, healthier approaches, models and skills for being an effective legal professional.

“Lawyers as Peacemakers” CLE includes 1.0 substance abuse and 2.0 of professionalism. Register online or call 614/221.4112.
