Institutionally Yours at the Columbus Bar
Whether you are interested in real property, probate or bankruptcy law, there is an upcoming CLE institute for you at the Columbus Bar. The Real Property Law Institute, February 2-3, has been accredited for 10.25 CLE Hours, including 1.0 Ethics; 9 (Title) Insurance Credits; 1 (Title) Ethics Credit; 10.5 Appraiser Hours and 10.0 Real Estate Hours.
The Probate Law Institute returns to the CBA on May 4. The Institute planning co-chairs Jane Higgins Marx and Brandon A. Borgmann of Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP are developing a comprehensive agenda that will provide attendees with 6.0 CLE hours. Topics will be finalized in the coming weeks and Institute updates can be found at cbalaw.org/cle. Pre-registration is recommended to ensure a seat at this popular Institute.
Also in May is the Bankruptcy Law Institute, May 10 -11. It will offer 12 CLE hours with topics such as Stern v. Marshall, dischargeability of student loans, appeals from Bankruptcy Court decisions, commercial and traditional receiverships, consumer issues, local and national case law updates, substance abuse, ethics and professionalism.
