Columbus Plays Second City to New York for Second Year
January marks year two for the collaboration between the Columbus Bar and New York City’s Practising Law Institute (PLI), a non-profit continuing legal education organization chartered by the Regents of the University of the State of New York and founded in 1933. Since its founding, PLI has witnessed more than three million program registrations and publication purchases by lawyers and allied professionals.
PLI's institutes and programs provide lawyers with the most up-to-date, relevant information and techniques that are critical to the development of a professional, competitive edge. These seminars are webcast to specific host locations including the Columbus Bar. Programs offered this spring will include hedge funds; investment management; consolidated tax return regulations; ethics for transactional lawyers; effective strategies for building profiles, networks and client relationships; IP enforcement and litigation; school law, pharmaceutical and biotech patent law; copyright and trademark law, health care, international litigation and broker-dealer regulation.
