Taxing Matters Lineup for Spring

The Business Tax Committee continues its noon program series, Taxing Matters, the second Wednesday of each month through May with a list of hot topics and a fine roster of presenters.

Each course will provide 1.0 CLE hour to registered attendees. Topics to be discussed are: Tax Planning for Exiting Partnerships with Richard Holz of Ice Miller, February 8; Ohio State and Local Tax Updates with Baker & Hosteller’s Edward J. Bernert and Kelvin M. Lawrence, March 14; M&A for Small Businesses – Buyer’s Side with J. Troy Terakedis of Calfee Halter & Griswold on April 11; and M&A for Small Businesses – Seller’s Side with David S. Jackson, Carlile Patchen & Murphy on May 9.

Seminars begin at 12:15pm after a brief Business Tax Committee meeting, and end at 1:15pm. Members may audit the presentations. Those seeking 1.0 hour of CLE must register. Registration fees for each part are: members $35 prepaid/$40 day-of; non-members $50 prepaid/$55 day-of; and non-attorneys $25 prepaid/$30 day-of. The seminars are CLE Easy Pass eligible.
