Ringing in the End of the Reporting Year
There is only one week left to earn CLE credit for attorneys, A through L. The CLE department and bar staff are here all week until the last class on December 30 at 12:30, a video replay that covers the ethics, professionalism and substance abuse requirements.
Another program replay with those elements will be offered in the morning of the last day at 9:00am. In fact, seminars will be offered each day including new lawyer training hours on estate planning and probate as well as sessions on contract and corporate law; and part two of the Going Solo series covering topics such as building your practice, bankruptcy, legal writing, transitioning from firm to solo and real estate.
Other video replays include a program on intellectual property as it relates to trade secret law, cyber fraud and trademark use in commerce on the Internet; and a firearms law program. The firearms program is 2.25 CLE hours; the ethics, professionalism and substance abuse focused programs are all 2.5 CLE hours with the other seminars ringing in at 3.0 CLE hours each.
