Call for Mock Trial Judges

Volunteers Needed for District Competition

The annual Ohio High School Mock Trial District competition, set for Friday, February 3, is looking for attorneys to serve as judges. The competition will be held at the Franklin County Municipal Court between 1:00pm and 5:30pm and nearly 50 volunteers are needed to cover all the scheduled trials.

A 45-minute training session is mandatory for all volunteers. Training sessions will be held at the Columbus Bar and are currently scheduled for Tuesday, January 24 at noon; Thursday, January 26 at 5:00pm; or Wednesday, February 1 at noon. A box lunch will be provided at noon training sessions. Volunteers pick the session that best suits their schedule at the time they sign up to participate in the mock trial.
