Be a Part of Something Big
The Columbus Bar inc Professional Development Center is an innovative pilot program that was created to assist new lawyers who are finding it difficult to establish their career in this difficult economy. Whether the goal is to establish a solo practice or to build a practice to gain marketable legal skills, eleven Columbus Bar inc attorneys have received extensive training and support to help them succeed during this difficult time.
The “inc” is short for “incubator”– a program intended to accelerate the successful development of new lawyers in an environment that provides an array of business support resources. The Columbus Bar Association provides an office facility, equipment, mentoring, training, and specially designed networking opportunities to help new lawyers build a successful practice based on sound business principles.
The Columbus Bar Board of Governors would like to continue the program and expand it so this unique opportunity can be provided to more new lawyers. To do so will require additional financial support.
The Columbus Bar is currently seeking donations to continue and grow this program. Consider making a financial contribution to Columbus Bar inc through the Columbus Bar Foundation, a 501(c)(3). If you are unable to make a monetary donation, consider donating office furniture or other in-kind services to help off-set program expenses. Please contact the program administrator, Danielle Murphy, at danielle@cbalaw.org for additional information.
