E-Filing Training Opportunities

The Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Clerk’s office is gradually phasing in its new E-Filing system. Many case types are already mandatory for E-Filing (for new and existing cases), including: civil foreclosure, professional tort, product liability, personal injury, cognovit, consumer sales practice, commercial docket, administrative appeals, complex litigation, and workers' compensation cases.

Other case types will be mandatory soon:
Nov 23: JG, EX, MS, and LP case types

In this seminar we’ll explain how to create, combine and split PDFs, determine and reduce file sizes, and make scanned PDFs searchable. We’ll demonstrate recommended scanners for creating PDFs from hard copy documents and explain appropriate scanner settings for documents to be e-filed. Finally, we’ll show you ways in which Microsoft Outlook can help you more easily deal with all of the incoming email notifications.
