About Trust and Secrets - Attorney Client Privilege

The existence of an attorney client relationship does not necessarily come hand in hand with the confidentiality privilege. There is a variety of issues which can determine the legitimacy of the privilege.

The Columbus Bar will host a 3.0 CLE hour program, November 16, 1:30pm to 4:45 - "Attorney Client Privilege" -  providing a working overview of the attorney-client privilege and work-product doctrine as they are applied in Ohio and the local Federal courts as well as attorneys' confidentiality obligations under the Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct.

The program will be presented by organizer Eric B. Gallon, Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, who will be joined by James P. Tyack, Tyack Blackmore Liston & Nigh Co.
