University of Dayton School of Law's Externship Program

Mr. Shimeall spoke to approximately 100 law students and externs at the University of Dayton School of Law on September 19, 2011 about professionalism and ethical issues in interviewing clients and witnesses. Shimeall emphasized the importance of civility, finding a good mentor, and being civil with opposing counsel and the judiciary.

On October 4, Mary Mertz (Ohio Attorney General's Office, First Assistant Attorney General), Jose Gonzalez (Senior Attorney, Speedway LLC) and Judge Alice McCollum (Montgomery County Probate Court) will be speak at UDSL about women and minorities in the legal profession.
