Why did you decide to become an attorney?
I really enjoy working with people, and practicing law was a way I could help many people.

What made you choose your primary area of law?
I have worked in various areas of law – from criminal to corporate. I left the practice of bankruptcy law in 2005 to take a job as corporate counsel for a civil engineering company. While I enjoyed working for this company, I really missed meeting with clients every day. I missed practicing bankruptcy law – so I came back to it. Having left the bankruptcy practice and come back, I know that I really do love what I do.

What makes your law firm unique?
CaJacob Law Group is not your average law firm. We really do try to make the bankruptcy process easy for our clients. We want our clients to feel comfortable talking to us and coming in to meet with us.

Describe your ideal client.
The ideal client for CaJacob Law Group is anyone who needs help with debt resolution.

Describe your personal interests and hobbies.
I am very close with my family. We spend a lot of time together. I am a HUGE dog lover. I have one dog and she is honestly my best friend. If I had all the money and space in the world I would have many more dogs. I really enjoy going to OSU sporting events. Go Bucks! Finally, I spend a lot of time volunteering in the Central Ohio community. I like to participate in events that help women and children specifically, but I will volunteer for just about anything that will help improve our community.

Describe your charitable activities.
I am on the board of an organization called Very Special Arts Ohio. We help raise money, promote activities and careers of people with mental and physical challenges in the Arts. This is the most rewarding group I have ever been involved with. I am lucky to have been chosen to be on the board. I am very involved with Junior League of Columbus. This group focuses on helping women and children in the Central Ohio area by raising funds for local charities as well as creating and running events in the community. Through Junior League I have had the opportunity to work with the Salvation Army, Volunteers of America and numerous other groups in our area.
