Hup Two Three Four - March to the CBA for the Going Solo Boot Camp Series!

A three-part CLE series, designed by Attorney Jamie Zitesman to provide guidance for attorneys who are considering going into solo practice, will be kicking off on August 17 at the CBA. This program has been approved for 3.0 general CLE hours including 0.5 substance abuse as well as for 3.0 new lawyer training CLE hours. Join us from 12:30 to 1:30 for a networking lunch and welcome presentation sponsored by CBA’s Columbus Lawyer Finder and Lawyer Referral Service.

The CLE program will start with Megan Snyder, OLAP, presenting on substance abuse. Jonathan Coughlin, Disciplinary Counsel of the Supreme Court of Ohio, will discuss client funds and IOLTA accounts, social media and advertising. James Dowley, State of Ohio, Department of Commerce, Division of Unclaimed Funds, will speak on various aspects of unclaimed funds. Malpractice Insurance topics will be covered by Wanda Swenson, ProAssurance Companies.

The program will conclude with Jamie Zitesman’s presentation on computer hardware and software. Subsequent Boot Camp sessions will take place on September 27 and October 24 and will include practice area specific presentations on what it is like to be an attorney in those areas. The entire series is CLE Easy Pass eligible. If you do not have a pass, but were admitted in 2010 or 2011, you can attend the entire series for $200.
