Experis Expands Columbus Operations

Experis, a Columbus Bar partner, recently announced the expansion of its downtown operations, which are located in the same building as the CBA. Experis recently partnered with the CBA to match attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and other legal professionals with firms seeking qualified talent. “Our new downtown location at 175 On the Commons is a great central location to do business and reach our clients,” predicted Ken Lazar.
Earlier this year, the three divisions comprising Experis consolidated from offices in the Huntington Building and in Dublin to the third floor at175 On The Commons. Due to the increased demand for professional contingent employees, Experis is adding an additional 2,500 square feet to its office in July to accommodate additional recruiters, business development managers and administrative staff.
“Many of the jobs that have been created after the recession have been created for long term temporary employees, and law firms appear to be following the same path.” said Mr. Lazar, Managing Director for Experis Engineering. “Companies that are reluctant to add direct headcount will first add contingent employees. Many of these employees will be hired on as employers become more comfortable with their growth in sales and profitability. However, in the future, I expect most companies to maintain a larger percentage of their workforce as contingent employees.”
Law firms needing to add talent to their staff or legal professionals who are in job transition can contact the Columbus Bar or Experis. Bruce Rowles, Experis Sr. Recruiter, is the dedicated point of contact for Columbus Bar members. He can be reached at 614/223.2316 or bruce.rowles@experis.com.
