Race Judicata 5K Scheduled for September 23

RACE JUDICATA, a 5k run/walk presented by the Moritz Student Bar Association, is a community service event that brings together law students and members of the central Ohio legal community. Proceeds from this year's race will be donated to the Columbus Bar Foundation.

Cost of participation is $20. Additionally, for a donation of $50, law firm, business, or other group logos can be placed on Race Judicata t-shirts. Large logos are available for a donation of $100, and premium logos are available for sponsors that donate $250 or more. Donations and logos must be received no later than 5 p.m. on September 2, 2011 to ensure placement on the shirts. Download the Sponsorship Form (PDF) for more details.

Last year, 150 people participated in Race Judicata, and the Moritz Student Bar Association hopes to increase the number of participants for 2011. “This year, we have set a goal of 200 participants and hope to increase participation from the legal community,” said Chenee Castruita, 2011 Race Judicata organizer.
