Domestic Law in the Digital Age

Electronic discovery techniques are fast becoming a common practice in many cases, across various practice areas. Domestic law is no exception. The Columbus Bar 2011 Masters Series season kicks off June 21with an exploration of Domestic Law in our Digital Age.

Detective Christine Roberts of the Columbus Ohio Police Department will spend the first half of this 6.0 CLE seminar discussing cellular phone based evidence. The day will also include a presentation on the use of social media in discovery and litigation from Jacklyn J. Ford, Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease. Rexann Hosafros, formerly a magistrate in the Common Pleas Domestic Relations Division, will provide judicial insight on issues of juvenile custody for unwed couples, addressing the contours of an increasingly common situation in domestic law.
