Congratulations, Lin Riffle, CRR, RDR

McGinnis Court Reporting and Video has a star on staff. Ms. Riffle, a 24-year reporter with the firm, won top honours at the Ohio Court Reporters Association annual conference held in Columbus recently.

The Hagestrom Cup Speed Contest was awarded for five-minute testing in three categories: Literary at 220 WPM; Jury charge at 240 WPM; and Q&A testimony at 280 WPM. The Realtime Contest was five-minute testing in two categories: Literary at 200 WPM and Q&A testimony at 225 WPM. Results were graded on accuracy for both contests from participants all over Ohio.

In the history of both tests given at one conference, Lin is the first to achieve the feat of winning both awards. McGinnis Court Reporters and the Columbus Bar salute the “best in Ohio.”
