There are five recognitions of service to the community and to the Bar:

COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD for attorneys who substantially contribute time and effort in service to the central Ohio community, outside the practice of law and without compensation. Elected office holders are not eligible. Two awards: an attorney 36 or under; 37 years or older.
LIBERTY BELL AWARD for extraordinary efforts in the community, with dedication to the principles of our democratic system of government by law. Lawyers or non-lawyers.
PROFESSIONALISM AWARD is given to an attorney in recognition of exceptional dedication to the standards of the profession and for demonstrated integrity.
BAR SERVICE MEDAL is presented to any attorney member who has shown a long history of distinguished service to the bar.
The Professionalism Award and the Bar Service Medal are presented at the annual meeting in June.
