This annual seminar offers a number of special topics that include a judicial perspective of foreclosure by Judge Jonathan Hein from Darke County Common Pleas, one hour of professionalism presented by Alvin Matthews, and 0.5 hour of substance abuse presented by Michael Distelhorst. Other topics cover commercial real estate financial update, dying owning real estate, section 8 housing subsidies, health department involvement in land development, a casino development case study, fiduciary duty, licensee update, special improvement districts, new chapter 5312, and mechanics liens.
This year’s institute is set for February 3-4 and has been approved for 10.25 CLE hours, including 1.0 hour Professionalism and 0.5 hour Substance Abuse; 10.0 CE hours Real Estate (elective) and 7.0 CE hours Appraiser. An approval request has also been submitted to the Ohio Department of Insurance for (title) Insurance CE hours.
