Showing Up for Stand Down

The Columbus Bar sends thanks to all of the volunteer attorneys, social workers, barbers, health care professionals and others who participated on October 19 at the annual Veteran Stand Down at Veterans Memorial in downtown Columbus.
The participants provided an opportunity for our veterans and our homeless to obtain free services such as clothing, food, personal care items, medical attention, haircuts and legal advice.
The volunteers listed below were able to assist 67 veterans with issues concerning benefits. Participation was up from last year in every area of service.
