Trial Skills Institute: Winning a Case - From Start to Finish

Central Ohio Association for Justice will team up with the Columbus Bar to present the 6.0 CLE hour Trial Skills Institute
(download course brochure) on November 12 - taking you all the way from getting a case to winning it.

Frank J. Agin, AmSpirit Business Connections, will kick out of the starting blocks with a presentation on using social networking to get a case. He will pass the baton to Timothy J. Hooks, Chester Willcox & Saxbe, who will cover how office automation can help an attorney become ready to take on a case. Next, Keith A. Blough, Franklin County Law Library, will shed some light on preparing the case through Internet research. Following the lunch break, Robert G. Palmer, Robert Gray Palmer Co. will take the lead, sharing his expertise on settling the case through mediation. Running right behind him will be Mark M. Kitrick, Kitrick Lewis & Harris, who will edify preparation for trial through the use of focus groups. The last leg of the relay will be run by Frank A. Ray, Chester Willcox & Saxbe, who will break through the tape sharing how to win a trial with the opening statement.
