One Hour Packed with Years of Experience

Robert E. Adelman, attorney and owner/operator at Cefaratti Group, a litigation support company based in Cleveland, will be presenting a 1.0 CLE hour program on November 3. Paralegal Series: Maximizing Efficiency - Retrieval and Review of Medical Records will cover use of subpoenas vs. requests, drafting HIPAA authorizations, remittance of statutory fees, certification by records custodians, and digitization/endorsement of records for distribution amongst parties. Practical vs. legal considerations in communicating with medical record custodians will also be discussed as well as recent and upcoming developments in the area of electronic medical records. While this program is part of the Paralegal Series, it can also be informative for the practicing attorney.

Prior to starting his company, Mr. Adelman was a trial attorney for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. His experience also includes representing defendants in federal criminal actions, and plaintiffs in personal injury actions at Lillie and Holderman in Cleveland.
