Guide to Ohio Courts Now Online

And what’s in the online Guide to Ohio Courts? All kinds of useful information about local judges and courts to better prepare for practice before them.

Essentially, this is The Local Practice Handbook coming to life after being put to bed for the last time. You can find online profiles on local judges and magistrates, photos, contact information for court personnel, and court rules, including individual preferences on pre-trial procedures, motions and briefs, voir dire, jury procedures, continuances, and much more.

The Local Practice Handbook was first published in 1996, and over the years it has reached and stretched and now needs to be only a click or two away.

In its new electronic format, judges, magistrates and court personnel have the ability to update information 24/7. Columbus Bar members can receive updates via listservs.

So (end of story) the Local Practice Handbook will no longer be made from trees, rags, or recycled paper. It’s now at your fingertips.
