How to Make it to "The List"

Judge Michael J. Holbrook, Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, has organized a 3.0 CLE seminar titled "Basics of Court Appointments," slated for Friday, September 17 from 1:30-4:45pm. He will be joined by Judge Kim A. Browne, Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations and Juvenile Division; and Judge Anne Taylor, Franklin County Municipal Court. Together, they will be covering the basic requirements for getting on any court appointment list, how the lists work, duties of court appointed counsel, duties of GAL and payment for services. The program will close with some unusual scenarios - or, as Judge Holbrook describes them, “OMG moments.”
