Updates on New Tax Legislation
Business Tax Committee is kicking off a new season with its popular Taxing Matter Series, on September 8. For the premier, the group welcomes Brent Johnson, CPA, MT, partner in the firm of Yankovich Adelman Johnson Stevenson, LLC. During the noontime seminar,Taxing Matters Series: New Legislative Updates, Mr. Johnson will provide a general update on recent tax legislation – focusing on changes affecting businesses in the areas of filing requirements, elections, increased penalties and credits.
Mr. Johnson specializes in corporate tax compliance, planning and financial reporting of tax results. He has experience in public accounting, and managing a corporate tax department. Other areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, business process implementation for effective tax compliance, tax planning for multi-jurisdictional businesses, audit management and accounting for income taxes.
