CBA + OMBAC + Peach(NM) = E-CLE
Don’t know much about algebra. Don’t know what a slide rule is for. But we do know CBA + OMBAC + Peach(NM) = E-CLE. Translation: the Columbus Bar Association is a member of OMBAC (Ohio Metro Bar Association). The other bar associations in this group are Akron, Cincinnati, Dayton and Toledo. If you are a member of the Columbus Bar your membership extends to OMBAC, which has partnered with Peach New Media to provide on-line self-study continuing legal education (CLE) classes.
To get started, visit the online CLE homepage. If you are a Columbus Bar member, you automatically have an account and can find that information by selecting “log-in” and entering your email address. If you are not a member, you can create an account. Once you purchase a program, you have access to it for 30 days.
Be sure you do not use “full screen” mode or you may miss the random check points. Once you complete the program, all you have to do is log in to your OMBAC FastCLE account, choose “submit CLE,” and follow the steps that certify you have completed the course. Credit will be electronically submitted to the Supreme Court within 30 days.
While on-line CLE can be as easy as 1 – 2 – 3, the folks at Peach New Media are on standby to assist you, 1.866/702.3278.
