What experiences help you to be a better attorney?
Prior to law school, I worked three years in the hotel industry as a sales manager. Working in the hotel industry improved by ability to communicate with clients and solve problems.

What made you choose your primary area of law?
My undergraduate degree is from the Cornell Hotel School. At Cornell, I took several law and risk management classes which were devoted to the legal issues faced by restaurants and hotels. Commercial real estate is inextricably linked to the hospitality industry. My interest in real estate and business law started from there and has continued to evolve into other areas such as residential real estate, construction, and liquor permit work.

What makes your law firm unique?
Wiles Boyle Burkholder & Bringardner, as a mid-size law firm, has ideally positioned itself as a preeminent and distinguished law firm due to the professionalism, skill level and experience among its attorneys and staff. The firm has an established regional client base as well as a varied and flourishing local client base. While not the size of the super-sized law firms in the Central Ohio, Wiles Boyle can compete with those firms with experience and talent level while maintaining mid-level fees.

Describe your personal interests and hobbies.
I enjoy watching college and pro football, college basketball, and hockey. I am a huge Ohio State fan and alumni of OSU law. I am originally from Pittsburgh, so I cheer for the Steelers and Penguins. I also enjoy going to the gym.
