Congratulations, 2010-2011 Board of Governors Members

The Columbus Bar membership elected three new members to join the 2010-11 Board of Governors. Elected to first-time terms are Jennifer A. Adair, Assistant Attorney General, Court of Claims Defense Section; Jay E. Michael, Law Offices of Jay E. Michael; and Mark C. Petrucci, magistrate for Franklin County Common Pleas. Petrucci is a former board member who served from 2005-2009. Aaron L. Granger, Schottenstein Zox & Dunn, was appointed to the board in 2009 to serve out the remaining term of David S. Bloomfield, Jr. after he was elected Secretary-Treasurer. Granger will now serve his first elected term. In addition, Rosemary Ebner Pomeroy, Law offices of Rosemary Ebner Pomeroy; and Keith W. Schneider, Maguire & Schneider, were re-elected to second terms.
The secretary/treasurer position was won by Bradley B. Wrightsel, Wrightsel & Wrightsel. Wrightsel will join the Hon. Stephen L. McIntosh, judge for Franklin County Common Pleas, who will be sworn in as president, culminating his six years of service on the board – four as a board member and the last two as a Columbus Bar officer – and David S. Bloomfield, Jr., who will be installed as president-elect.
All newly-elected members will be sworn in at the Annual Meeting on June 4 at the Hyatt Capitol Square. They will join sitting board members Kenneth R. Cookson, Kegler Brown Hill & Ritter; Jack A. Guttenberg, Dean of Capital University Law School; Sandra R. McIntosh, Freund Freeze & Arnold; Anthony M. Sharett, Bricker & Eckler; and Gregory M. Travalio, Isaac Brant Ledman & Teetor. Current president Elizabeth J. Watters, Chester Willcox & Saxbe, will serve as past president. David T. Patterson, Weston Hurd Curley Patterson & Bush, will retire from the Board after serving the maximum two terms of office and James E. Phillips, Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease, is retiring after serving one term.
