Irons, Woods, Sails, Skis, Service...

After 33 years of dedication and leadership, Executive Director Alex Lagusch has announced his intentions to retire by January 2011.

Alex’s remarkable innovative style has earned the Columbus Bar a reputation as one of the most respected bar associations in the country. Although we at the Columbus Bar are saddened by his retirement, we share his excitement for enjoying time with family and friends.

“This is something that I have been considering for a while now. I’ve been fortunate to have had the opportunity to do so many different things at the Columbus Bar, and it’s been a truly great experience. While I don’t have any grand plans, I’m looking forward to spending time with my family, and just taking more time to do the things I enjoy.”

The Board accepted Alex’s notice with great sadness, and is in the process of developing a transition strategy. They will be meeting in the coming weeks to appoint a committee to conduct a national search for a successor.
