Meet Carie Marsh Ehrenborg, ColumbusLawyerFinder.com

Carie Marsh Ehrenborg (view ColumbusLawyerFinder.com profile)

Why did you decide to become an attorney?
When I entered law school I wanted to be a Public Defender, helping the less fortunate in society to protect their rights. This may have translated into my current practice – helping children who are in need.

What experiences (work and personal) help you to be a better attorney?
My experience at Franklin County Children Services was invaluable. It not only helped me to become a better attorney, but also helped me to be a better parent.

What made you choose your primary area of law?
At Franklin County Children Services, I was assigned to the Adoption Department where I became immediately connected to this area of the law. Being able to assist in helping children receive a forever, safe and stable home gives me a sense of worth as a lawyer.

What makes your law firm unique?
My firm is unique in that I have spent many years representing FCCS, learning the beginning of the process in Juvenile Court. In private practice, I now use that knowledge to help families complete the adoption process.
