OLAF's Bob Clyde Retires
The Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation's founder and Executive Director, Robert Clyde has announced his retirement after 15 years. Jerry Lawson, who is not a candidate for a permanent replacement, will serve as interim director.
Mr. Clyde, who has devoted a 37-year career to delivering legal services to low-income Ohioans, will serve a part-time role with OLAF as senior counsel and director of Government Relations.
"Bob has forged many important and successful trails for OLAF and legal services throughout Ohio and the country, and now with his help we will clear one more trail: his well-deserved retirement," OLAF Board President Julie Davis said in a news release. "Bob's legacy is as a passionate leader in the legal aid community who has tirelessly worked to ensure that low-income Ohioans have equal access to our justice system."
