Ohio's LGBT Legal Landscape

In light of the recent court decision on California’s Proposition 8, and the national debates surrounding the Employment Non-Discrimination Act and “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell,” the Columbus Bar is pleased to present a 3.0 CLE entitled “Ohio’s LGBT Legal Landscape.” This seminar will take place on August 28 from 9:00am to 12:15pm. We welcome Lambda Legal’s Midwest Regional Office, Senior Staff Attorney and Iowa Marriage architect, Camilla Taylor as our featured speaker. Ms. Taylor is joined by two of Ohio’s leading attorneys in the area of custody and parental rights for lesbian and gay families, Carol Fey and LeeAnn Massucci, Massucci & Kline.

This seminar will discuss state legislation and 6th Circuit Court case law relevant to domestic relations and employment law. This seminar provides current, substantive information with a keen focus on Ohio, as well as providing a national context.
