Internet Access to Court Documents Before Year's End

The Franklin County Clerk of Courts, in conjunction with the Franklin County Data Center and outside consultants, continues to work towards making external access to images of court documents available through the Clerk’s web site.

Initially scheduled for the summer of 2009, full implementation of this service has been delayed until the end of the year. The team working on this project is working to make certain that the proper hardware is in place, the system will be able to manage the increased traffic, and security measures are properly set.

“Our office is ready to make these images available,” said Clerk of Courts Maryellen O’Shaughnessy. “I realize what a popular feature this is going to be. However, the implementation of this project cannot be at the cost of compromising other important Franklin County IT services.”
