"Red Flags Rule" - What Is It?

Will your clients be ready August 1, when the Federal Trade Commission begins enforcement, requiring creditors and financial institutions to adopt identify theft prevention programs? What about your firm?

Plan to attend the Columbus Bar’s “Red Flags Rule” CLE program on July 29, noon – 1 p.m. to learn about the statutory basis for the rule, with particular emphasis on the Federal Trade Commission regulations since those are relevant for lawyers.

Benita A. Kahn, Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease, is the presenter of the program. To register, call the Columbus Bar CLE Department at 221.4112.

And remember, CLE Easy Pass holders can register and attend this seminar as one of their available twelve hours of CLE. If you haven't purchased your CLE Easy Pass, there's still time to acquire 12 hours of CLE for just $100. Buy it now and choose your 12 hours from over 400 hours of Columbus Bar CLE a year.
